Meraki Talent is recruiting for a Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing professional services firm. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative tax team that values development, knowledge-sharing, and long-term career progression.
You will manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including sole traders and directors of owner-managed businesses, with exposure to more complex and high-value cases as you develop in the role.
The Role:
- Preparation and review of Self-Assessment personal tax returns
- Completion of P11Ds, advice on benefits in kind, and preparation of PAYE Settlement Agreements
- Producing Capital Gains Tax calculations, including UK Property CGT returns
- Liaising with internal teams, clients, and HMRC via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Supporting ad-hoc tax queries and contributing to wider tax projects
Skills & Experience:
- ATT qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Previous experience in a personal tax or mixed tax role
- Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, partnership tax, and Capital Gains Tax
- Confidence supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Experience using CCH is advantageous, though training can be provided
- Exposure to advisory work for owner-managed businesses (including IHT, CGT, Income Tax, and Corporation Tax) is desirable but not essential
