Salary: £52,000+ per annum + overtime

We’re currently looking for an experienced Senior Setting Out Engineer to join our team on projects across Glasgow.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong site experience who is looking for a long-term position, competitive salary and the chance to earn additional money through overtime.

The role will involve:

• Setting out works accurately from drawings and specifications
• Carrying out levels, measurements and site checks
• Using surveying equipment and relevant software
• Working closely with Site Managers and the wider project team
• Monitoring works to ensure they are completed accurately and to the required standards
• Providing technical support and guidance on site
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer, ideally at Senior level
• A strong background in civil engineering or construction
• Good knowledge of setting out and surveying
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Relevant qualifications and CSCS certification
