Our partner, BAE Systems, is looking for experienced Electricians to join their growing team in Glasgow on a 12-month contract. As part of a specialist team, you will be working on the Type 26 City Class frigates, a new generation of ship being built by the navy. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled Electricians to be part of a high-profile Defence project.

• Installing a range of cables including multi-core, single core, co-axle, and fibre optic
• Setting up electrical systems, such as junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, and switches
• Supporting activities including cable reeving, banding, and terminations
• Aligning and installing all electrical equipment
• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshooting and resolving any electrical issues
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure projects are completed on time
• Providing technical support and guidance as required

• NQV Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and time served Apprenticeship in a relevant trade
• Comfortable reading and working from technical electrical drawings
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Committed to meeting safety standards and regulations
• Eligibility for SC clearance due to the secure nature of this Defence project
