Description

We're partnering with a highly regarded Scottish firm to appoint a Marketing & Communications Executive on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled communicator, content creator and storyteller to join a collaborative marketing team and play a key role in strengthening brand awareness, reputation and market engagement.

This broad and varied role will see you lead the creation of compelling content, support PR initiatives and help deliver impactful communications across multiple channels.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and the wider marketing team to identify stories, develop campaigns and ensure consistent messaging across all communications activity.

Content & Communications

• Create high-quality content for websites, social media, email campaigns and internal communications
• Develop engaging stories that support business priorities and strengthen brand visibility
• Ensure all communications are aligned to brand guidelines and tone of voice
• Support content planning and execution across multiple channels

PR & Media Relations

• Assist with the development and delivery of PR campaigns
• Draft press releases, media materials and thought leadership content
• Identify opportunities to enhance the organisation's profile through media and communications activity
• Support wider reputation-building initiatives

Reporting & Insight

• Analyse campaign and content performance
• Produce clear reports and actionable recommendations for stakeholders
• Use audience and performance data to drive continuous improvement

Collaboration

• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to uncover compelling stories and opportunities
• Support broader marketing and business development initiatives
• Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging communications best practice

Profile

A successful Marketing and Communications Executive should have:

• At least 3 years' experience within marketing, communications, PR or digital marketing
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling ability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience creating content across a variety of platforms and audiences
• A data-led approach with the ability to interpret performance insights
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience within a B2B or professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
