Location: Positions UK Wide, Hybrid to Local Office (up to 4 days from home)

Are you a Senior / Principal Process Design Engineer looking for your next opportunity delivering major UK Water and Wastewater treatment schemes?
You will be working with a leading Design & Build contractor delivering major clean and wastewater projects across a range of frameworks nationwide. With projects and design teams supporting Water Authority AMP programmes throughout the UK, they are looking to recruit additional process design support across their regional teams.
If you are not based close to one of their offices, a more flexible arrangement can be considered for the right candidate, with travel to an office or site potentially required just once a fortnight.
As a Senior / Principal Process Design Engineer, you will be involved in developing process solutions for Water and Wastewater treatment projects across the full design lifecycle. You will be taking projects from feasibility and optioneering through outline and detailed design, helping develop practical, efficient and deliverable treatment solutions.
You will be:
·Delivering feasibility, optioneering, outline, detailed and final process design for Water and Wastewater projects.
·Developing and evaluating process solutions for clean water and wastewater treatment schemes.
·Undertaking process calculations, assessments and technical evaluations to support design development.
·Producing and reviewing process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, process specifications and other technical design documentation.
·Supporting hydraulic and process assessments associated with treatment infrastructure.
·Reviewing technical proposals, process designs and supplier submissions.
·Taking technical responsibility for chemical design work packages and smaller projects.
·Supporting key design reviews for Water Authority AMP projects.
·Working on Water treatment works, Wastewater treatment works, pumping stations and associated treatment infrastructure.
·Working closely with mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and other engineering disciplines to develop coordinated and buildable solutions.
·Providing technical process guidance to multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
·Supporting projects from initial feasibility and concept development through to detailed design and delivery.
To be considered, you will need:
·A Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
·Previous process design experience within the UK Water or Wastewater sector.
·Experience delivering process designs through the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design.
·Experience working on AMP-related projects for a UK Water Authority.
·Experience developing process solutions for Water treatment works, Wastewater treatment works or associated treatment infrastructure.
·Experience producing and reviewing process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, specifications and technical design documentation.
·An understanding of the interfaces between process design and mechanical, electrical, civil and other engineering disciplines.
·The ability to take technical responsibility for process design packages and contribute effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
