Business Travel Consultant – Homeworking
Business Travel Consultant required for this global TMC, working on high-profile accounts. They are looking for experienced Business Travel Consultants with Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo experience to work from home.
Salaries between £28,000–£35,000 plus great benefits.
Business Travel Consultant experience is essential.

Hours ideally Saturday to Wednesday, although they will consider Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday and there is a Monday – Friday option available too .

Business Travel Consultants duties

• Act as Travel Advisor and Consultant to Corporate Business travellers, looking after high-profile accounts
• Act as the point of sale on all travel requirements, arranging both routine and complex domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail and accommodation, utilising Sabre
• Provide consultative advice, solutions and recommendations. This includes conducting analysis and research on the best available fare/routing, and ensuring preferred air carrier and partners are recommended, whilst ensuring adherence to the customers agreed travel policy and requirements
• Ensure customer travel profiles are detailed and accurate, following internal compliance and regulatory requirements for all customers and locations supported
• Manage the booking process through ticketing and order fulfilment, either over the telephone or via email or back-office systems and servicing platforms

Business Travel Consultants skills required

• Business Travel Consultant experience is a must
• Sabre GDS ideally, but they will consider Amadeus or Galileo and cross over
• Strong airfares knowledge
• Ability to work at speed
• Customer service orientated

• 4 weeks’ online training

• Shifts range from 8am to 6pm
• 37.5 hours per week
• The higher salaries are reserved for those working weekend days as part of their shift pattern
