Contract Type: Contract or Permanent considered

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Implement and support cloud platform services and environments
• Build and enhance automation for cloud provisioning and operations
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Support platform monitoring, alerting and operational tooling
• Perform platform maintenance, patching and upgrades
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-platform issues
• Support vulnerability remediation and security improvements
• Collaborate with architecture and delivery teams on solution implementation
• Maintain engineering standards, documentation and operational procedures
• Contribute to performance, reliability and resilience improvements
• Support the onboarding of new workloads and cloud services

What to bring

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience
• Extensive Infrastructure as Code experience, with Terraform preferred
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms in production
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python or similar
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security and identity services
• Experience with monitoring, logging and operational support processes

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms
• AWS experience
• FinOps and cloud cost-optimisation experience
• Experience within utilities, energy or regulated industries
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications
• Experience supporting cloud migration programmes
• Experience working in utilities/energy or regulated sectors
