Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas
Salary: £42,000 + Overtime + Benefits
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, permanent

HVAC Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established national facilities management company, covering commercial sites across Glasgow and surrounding areas.

You’ll deliver planned and reactive maintenance across offices, retail, healthcare and education sites, with support from an experienced engineering team, ongoing training and opportunities to progress.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial AC and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, FCUs and associated plant.
• Complete minor installations, replacements and remedial works.
• Maintain accurate F-Gas records, service reports and compliance paperwork using digital systems.
• Manage your workload and keep customers updated on progress.
• Follow health and safety procedures and participate in the on-call rota.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience maintaining air conditioning systems within commercial environments.
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers.
• Full UK driving licence.

An NVQ Level 2 or 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration would be advantageous, alongside commercial refrigeration experience, IPAF, PASMA or 18th Edition.
