A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow is seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing tax team, offering flexible working, a company pension and much more. As Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will manage a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, ranging from owner managed businesses to larger corporate groups, reviewing computations and returns, advising on corporation tax planning, and playing a key role in developing and mentoring junior members of the team.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and review corporation tax computations and returns for a portfolio of clients
• Provide proactive corporate tax advice and planning to clients
• Support the delivery of ad hoc projects, including reorganisations and transactions
• Supervise, coach and develop junior team members
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified (or part qualified with relevant experience)
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax
• Proven experience managing a portfolio and reviewing the work of others
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
