Domestic Gas Engineer – Central Belt

Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE
Location: Central Belt, Scotland

FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer on behalf of an established Facilities Management provider operating across Scotland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer looking for a mobile maintenance role with the added opportunity to gain commercial gas qualifications, fully supported by the company.

The Role

Working across a mixture of social housing and commercial contracts throughout the Central Belt, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out planned and reactive gas maintenance.

• Servicing, fault finding and repairing domestic gas appliances and heating systems.

• Diagnosing breakdowns and completing necessary repairs.

• Undertaking general heating maintenance across social housing properties.

• Supporting maintenance works across commercial contracts.

• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current gas regulations.

• Participating in a 1 in 5 on-call rota.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Domestic Gas Engineer.

• Current domestic ACS gas qualifications.

• Experience in servicing, maintenance and fault finding.

• Previous experience within social housing or Facilities Management would be advantageous.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Keen to develop skills and gain commercial gas qualifications.
