About The Role

We’re looking for an engaging and results-driven Sales Manager to lead, motivate and develop a team within our Direct-to-Consumer sales operation.

This is an opportunity for someone who loves getting the best out of people while delivering strong commercial results. You’ll take ownership of your team’s performance, creating an environment where people know what success looks like, feel supported to achieve it and are recognised when they do.

You’ll combine hands-on coaching with a strong understanding of sales performance, using data and insight to spot opportunities, remove barriers and help your team succeed.

Just as importantly, you’ll champion the high standards of quality, compliance and customer care that sit at the heart of our business.

You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Leading your team to achieve sales, revenue, conversion, productivity and quality targets.

  • Creating a positive, ambitious sales environment where people feel motivated to perform at their best.

  • Using performance data and insight to identify trends, opportunities and areas where additional support or action is needed.

  • Coaching and developing team members through regular one-to-ones, call observations and meaningful performance conversations.

  • Setting clear expectations, recognising great performance and constructively addressing areas for improvement.

  • Taking timely action to overcome performance challenges and maximise sales opportunities.

  • Managing day-to-day sales activity, workflow and priorities to ensure your team makes the best use of available leads and resources.

  • Role modelling exceptional customer focus and the behaviours and standards you expect from your team.

  • Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention of talented sales colleagues.

  • Ensuring activity is delivered in line with agreed processes and the high standards of quality and compliance expected across Cigna.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Experience leading, coaching or developing people within a sales or performance-driven environment.

  • A strong commercial mindset and genuine enthusiasm for helping a team achieve ambitious goals.

  • Confidence using performance data and KPIs to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.

  • A hands-on coaching style, with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback that helps people grow.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to motivate different personalities and working styles.

  • The confidence to recognise success while also addressing performance challenges when needed.

  • A customer-first mindset and an understanding of the importance of quality and compliance within a sales environment.

  • A collaborative leadership style and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive and high-performing team culture.

Above all, you’ll be the kind of leader people want to work for: visible, supportive, commercially focused and genuinely invested in helping others succeed.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Multicultural and hybrid working environment

  • Private Medical Insurance

  • Employee Wellbeing Benefits

  • Educational Development Program
