- Lead vulnerability management efforts by assessing, prioritizing, and remediating security risks across Kubernetes, OpenShift, operating systems, and supporting platform components.
- Enhance observability through monitoring, metrics, logging, alerting, and reliability engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with global SRE, infrastructure, security, and L2 operations teams to deliver consistent operational support across regions.
- Contribute to strategic platform initiatives focused on reliability, self-service capabilities, modernization, automation, and customer experience.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations.
- Hands-on experience operating and supporting Red Hat OpenShift or enterprise Kubernetes platforms in production environments.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, networking, scheduling, storage, and cluster lifecycle management.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices using Flux for Kubernetes configuration and deployment management.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, with the ability to build dashboards, alerts, and operational insights.
- Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault and enterprise secrets-management patterns within Kubernetes environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and ingress technologies.
- Experience managing Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), security advisories, patching, and platform remediation activities.
- Experience with container image inspection, vulnerability analysis, and supply-chain security tooling such as Skopeo.
- Experience developing automation using Python, Go, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Understanding of SRE principles, including reliability, observability, automation, incident management, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in a globally distributed engineering environment.
