Ladies Athleisure Designer - #2181210

GLASGOW • FULL-TIME ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded ladies' designer to create trend-led jersey, activewear and leisurewear collections for Global high street retailers.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for a designer with excellent organisation and communication skills.

You will work closely with an ambitious Design team and report to the Head of Design.

The Role

• Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends, customer needs and market intel – fabric, colour, prints, graphics, techniques, shape. Identifying key opportunities and areas for development.

• Develop original, commercially relevant jersey and leisurewear collections tailored to leading high street retailers and their customers.

• Liaising closely with the Merchandising teams in both the UK & Far East.

• Building strong relationships with buying and design teams.

• Managing a busy workload and adapting to changing deadlines.

• Complete design packs for factories, accurately and clearly.

Requirements

• Minimum 3yrs proven commercial design industry experience.

• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with an attention to detail.

• A strong relevant portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, commercial awareness and execution.

• Confident CAD skills, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proactive, collaborative approach.

• An ability to prioritise and multi-task, and to work at pace.
