Plant Supervisor - #1676207

My client is looking to appoint a Concrete Plant Supervisor on a temporary basis, which for the right candidate, will go into a permanent role. The role is based in Motherwell and the client is looking for the successful candidate to supervise and operate a RMX plant. Duties include

• Carrying out general housekeeping duties
• Managing contractors that visit the site
• Operate the concrete batching plant, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Receive, process, and check raw materials (cement, sand, aggregate, water, etc.) ensuring accurate proportioning and stock levels.
• Oversee the batching process to ensure accurate mixing and delivery of concrete.
• Carry out necessary tests and quality control measures on the concrete mix.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including daily housekeeping and maintenance of the batch plant and equipment.
• Undertake regular safety checks and inspections of the batching plant and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of batching activities.

Ski8lls and experience

• Must have experience of running a ready-mix concrete plant
• Experience of concrete batching
• Experience of Contractor management
• IOSH Health and Safety Qualification
