Steel Estimator - #1707037

JN Technical is recruiting an experienced Estimator on behalf of a national steel fabricator. We are looking for an Estimator with proven experience in the structural steel industry. In this role you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for large scale tier 2 packages, ensuring compliance with UK standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to estimate costs.


• Conduct material take-offs and prepare detailed bids.


• Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to validate pricing and requirements.


• Ensure estimates comply with UK regulations .


• Monitor market trends for material costs and labour rates.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of UK structural steel standards and processes.


• Proficiency in estimation software.


• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

This role is critical to delivering accurate, competitive estimates for successful project execution.
