Now Hiring: Shift Engineering Supervisor PSV/HGV – Glasgow - Permenant Position

Salary: £44,658 | Permanent | Full-Time

Venatu Automotive are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our valued client for the role of Shift Engineering Supervisor based at a well-established depot in Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a PSV / HGV Engineer ready to step into leadership, or for someone who is already a supervisor looking for a fresh opportunity to make a real difference in a forward-thinking engineering environment.

The Role

• Overseeing the servicing and maintenance of the fleet to meet legal and safety standards
• Allocating daily workloads and managing reactive issues effectively
• Leading and mentoring a high-performing engineering team
• Ensuring optimal vehicle availability to meet service needs
• Managing workshop stock and supporting warranty claim processes
• Recording engineering performance and ensuring environmental compliance
• Working closely with operational teams to maintain service reliability
• Handling team performance matters, including conduct, absence, and training
  
  

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08am - 16.30pm

• What We're Looking For
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• PSV or HGV engineering background is highly desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence is a bonus – training can be provided)
• Sound knowledge of workshop safety and compliance
• Right to work in the UK
