Finance Analyst - #1764380

Anderson Knight are seeking a talented Finance Analyst to join one of our key clients in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will work both within a small team and independently, aligned to a range of key projects.

You will be exposed to a large amount of ad-hoc work, supporting a broad range of finance requirements across the projects. As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to the project, driving insight and decision-making to improve profitability and operational performance.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, key duties will include:

· Partnering with commercial teams to develop and deliver financial plans and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

· Journal postings including month end.

· Balance sheet reconciliations.

· Identifying opportunities for cost optimization and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

· Supplier payment reviews.

· Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and shareholders across the project, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision making.

· Half year and year end audit support.

The ideal candidate will possess the following key attributes to meet the expectations of this position:

· Fully Qualified Accountant ACCA/CA/CIMA

· Strong commercial and analytical skills

· Ability to meet provide senior management with key financial data around performance, profitability and project costs

· Excellent attention to detail

· Energetic, driven focused individual who possess a “can do attitude”
