Salary: £90,000-£110,000

The Opportunity

A major international organisation is seeking a Head of Finance Transformation, to drive the next phase of its finance transformation journey.

This is a senior leadership role for an individual who combines strong finance expertise with a passion for technology, process improvement, data and emerging digital capabilities. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping how finance leverages technology to improve efficiency, enhance reporting and support better business decisions.

Working closely with senior finance, technology and operational stakeholders, you will define and execute a long-term vision for finance systems, automation, analytics and AI, ensuring investment in new capabilities delivers measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and own the finance technology strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to modernise finance processes through automation, data-driven solutions and emerging technologies.
• Build strong relationships across finance, technology and business functions to drive successful transformation initiatives.
• Lead the delivery of large-scale change programmes, from initial concept through to implementation and ongoing optimisation.
• Oversee governance, controls and risk management associated with finance technology initiatives.
• Champion innovation while ensuring solutions remain scalable, sustainable and commercially effective.
• Support adoption of new technologies by engaging, coaching and influencing senior stakeholders and wider teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to challenge existing processes and ways of working.

Key Requirements:

We're interested in speaking with experienced leaders who have successfully operated at the intersection of finance, business transformation and technology.

You are likely to have:

• Significant experience leading finance transformation, ERP, digital finance or technology-enabled change programmes.
• A strong understanding of finance operations, financial controls, governance and data management.
• Experience implementing technologies such as automation platforms, advanced analytics, AI-driven solutions or modern finance systems.
• The ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• A track record of delivering complex change within large-scale organisations.
• A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bring people on a transformation journey.
