  • Strong understanding of customer data modelling, data flows, integration, distributed data platforms and database performance.
  • Ability to apply Pega architecture, design and coding best practices and troubleshoot complex decisioning issues.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain decisioning concepts to business and technical audiences.
  • Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, decisioning effort estimation and prioritisation within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Define and enforce Pega decisioning architecture, design and coding standards, applying platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and customer stakeholders to translate collections requirements into decisioning designs and technical user stories.
  • Design Next-Best-Action strategies, customer segmentation, contact policies, arbitration and prioritisation across inbound, outbound and real-time interactions.
  • Guide adaptive and predictive model integration to support customer-level prioritisation and collections treatment strategies.
  • Coordinate customer data models, data flows and integration designs with workflow, data migration and integration teams.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, design and code reviews, mentoring and knowledge transfer to decisioning developers.
  • Guide decision strategy testing, simulation and performance validation, and support defect resolution and production readiness.
  • Contribute decisioning effort estimates, prioritisation and dependency assessments to Agile story refinement and sprint planning.
